Dr. Sadeghi
Anesthesiologist
Dr. Sadeghi is a board-certified dental anesthesiologist (i.e., a Diplomate of the America Dental Board Anesthesiology) who has more than 20 years of experience in a wide variety of practice settings.
Dr. Sadeghi completed his undergraduate study in microbiology at the University of South Florida (1985-1989). He attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (1989-1993). He completed the anesthesia residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with a focus on pediatric anesthesia and anesthesia for head and neck surgeries (1993-1995).
Following his residency, Dr. Sadeghi joined the clinical faculty of the Anesthesia Department at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine as an assistant professor of anesthesiology to train residents and nurses in anesthesia (1995-1999).
Dr. Sadeghi started his private practice (Ambulatory Anesthesia Practice) in northern California (1999-present). His current practice is dedicated to office-based anesthesia for outpatient surgical and dental procedures. He has safely delivered anesthesia for thousands of pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Sadeghi is an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) instructor and teaches emergency protocols to doctors, nurses, and paramedics at Heart Share Training Center in San Jose. The California Dental Board has also appointed Dr. Sadeghi as a board inspector for anesthesia quality control delivered in dental offices. He examines anesthesiologists and oral surgeons as part of their anesthesia license and recertification process.
